I was very young when I realized that writing songs was the ultimate path to artistic freedom and a possible career. Over the years, Ive written a lot of songs, in many different styles, from many genres. Ive now been given the exciting opportunity to place them in the hands of some of todays best and brightest. With the help of The Blue Note I will be putting together a overview of my work over the last 40 years and looking forward. I will be joined by the stellar cast of Keyon Harold on trumpet, James Francieson keys, Jermaine Paul on bass and Blaque Dynamite on drums.
