Great place to stay BUT $50 for 2 hour early check-in was pretty steep!!!

Expensive for what it offers. Maybe my opinion as a foreigner is based on my previous travel experiences but I think that it was pricey for what they offer. The rooms are clean and the location is decent, however I was expecting a safe place to sleep and when I arrived after a dinner with friends I'm walking to my room from the parking lot and at the same time a truck with prostitutes and drunk guests arrive; uncomfortable as they started to yell me to join them. Not hotel's fault but still it gives it a bad image and I felt somehow insecure. This made me think it was a motel instead of a hotel. The breakfast is okay, but the dining area was busy had to wait to have a seat.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hawthorne suites. Everything was clean and stocked. Lovely free breakfast was provided. I was disappointed to see that the front desk empoyees were using the handicap parking by the front desk for thier own personal vehicle. That should be reserved for your handicap guest!

Nice hotel for the rate. Clean, well appointed and comfortable rooms. No smells and pet free for those with allergies. Nothing fancy but all you need and in great Napa location. Hot breakfast was okay for free. Good coffee. Unsecured wifi, so we did not use it. We would definitely stay here again.
